I spotted this article posted on Townhall.com. Written by Erica Werner of the AP. I love her term "the angst-ridden electorate", and I'm assuming she coined the phrase. Those 3 words, in my view, describe why this election cycle is far different than any we've had in the past couple of decades. Ms Werner does a fine job of painting a picture of the true situation, in my view. As phrases such as "income inequality" and "the widening gap between rich/poor" keep being tossed about by both sides (especially the dem's), the Gallop poll that Ms Werner cites debunks these charges by showing clearly that Mom/Pop middle America are not envious, jealous nor do they begrudge the rich their riches. But rather they simply want to return to a fat job market with lots of medium to high paying jobs for themselves and those closest to them.
So, try as they may, the dem's just aren't having much success in their efforts to beat the drums of class warfare.
